In this year’s crop festival and market, a number of major national companies specialized in food production, as well as Qatari farms and nurseries, have committed to sustain its role as an annual economic platform that supports local food industries and local agricultural products, and supports farm production in the country.
They are of great economic importance since they represent an initiative to encourage local agricultural products and introduce the high quality of agricultural crops and the national food industry, which includes vegetables, fruits, dates, honey, milk, dairy, cheese, and fresh meats. Additionally, it shows the growing number of agricultural and food products in Qatar and assists in marketing the products of Qatari farms that have achieved wide fame and good reputation at competitive prices.
Furthermore, the Mahaseel festival is a platform for marketing fresh, local agricultural products that are produced by Qatari companies and are presented by national farms, as well as sheep meat, poultry, birds, nursery plants, flowers, and ornamental plants for home gardens. With the help of Qatari farms and agricultural producers, the Mahaseel Festival has been a great success over the years.
